Job Title: General Manager Operations
Core Prerequisites
Candidate must have experience in organizing and coordinating the office and field operations and procedures, in order to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and ensure the standard and procedures of business operations are observed
- Ensure business operations run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis
- Ensure business operations are carried out in a safety-conscious manner
- Develop and maintain a sound quality control system for field operations
- Provide necessary progress report on the business operations
- Responsible for the overall operation of the company in a supporting role
- Responsible for operational excellence, productivity and development of the operations team as it supports the running of the company.
- Manage costs through effective utilization of personnel, materials and equipment
- Manage and motivate the team and be responsible for driving performance improvements and measurements in the company
- Identify quality improvement methods for the operation of the company.
- Provide good, effective leadership, and guidance among team members and all staff.
- All other tasks that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- University degree
- 2-5 years of progressively responsible experience in film distribution, media industry or a directly related area during which professional capability has been clearly demonstrated
- Proven ability to establish, prioritize and accomplish goals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively
- Knowledge of business operations and development strategies
- Strong personality and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure with little or no supervision
- Ability to document and review business processes
- Strong planning skills
- Must be between the ages of 24 to 35 years old
- Able to drive and possess a valid driving license
- Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organization and administrative skills
- Able to work independently with minimum of supervision
